Multi-tier construction with divided frame
The construction with a divided frame and continuous base structure initially involves assembling the racks for the lower tier. Then the intermediate platform is laid in place before the subsequent tiers are assembled. The upper level may optionally be used as a mezzanine.
This construction is primarily employed in compact spaces, e.g. in warehouses where space restrictions prevent the installation of a continuous frame. Open or closed frames may be used depending on the load-bearing capacity required.
